Do it Anyway

Most people wait for the perfect conditions to start. But what if perfect never comes?

I’ve seen this firsthand. A few months ago, I posted a reel that ended up reaching over 9 million people. But I almost didn’t post it.

I had a plan for that video. A clear script, a strong hook, a structured idea. And one by one, all those ideas fell apart. Nothing was working the way I wanted it to. I was about to scrap the whole thing, but at the last minute, I felt like God was prompting me to share something completely different.

In two minutes, I put together a new thought, and posted it. That imperfect, unplanned video reached more people than anything I had ever shared before.

This morning, I was reminded of that lesson again. I went outside for my cold plunge, expecting to break the ice easily. Instead, I hit solid ice. My usual routine was out the window, and I almost decided to skip the whole thing. But instead, I sat on top of the ice and recorded my thoughts.

The outcome? It also connected with my audience.

I think a lot of people get stuck in the same mindset I was once in. They wait for perfect conditions before they take action. They wait until they feel ready, until the timing is right, until they have the exact plan lined up.

But what if that moment never comes?

A lot of people become stagnant not because they don’t have good ideas, but because they refuse to move without perfection. Stagnation leads to frustration. It leads to doubt. It leads to burnout.

We aren’t meant to stay still. Progress comes from movement. Clarity comes from action. Growth happens when we step forward before we feel ready.

So if you’ve been waiting for the perfect moment, maybe this is your sign to stop waiting and start moving.
